We gave our bathroom a BIG makeover! This week is the full reveal of the finished space… you can catch up on the rest of the bathroom series here! This post is brought to you by our friends at Bath Fitter.
The day is finally here, my friends. After months and months of planning, budgeting, painting and decorating, our bathroom makeover is FINISHED!
I have been bursting at the seams all week waiting to show you guys what the bathroom looks like all decorated, but first, let’s take a trip down memory lane to just a few short weeks ago before we started the makeover.
Our tub was in bad shape, and the entire bathroom needed a major refresh. We started with a complete overhaul of our tub and shower by Bath Fitter, which you can read about here and here. Then we ripped up the old flooring and added a beautiful mosaic tile (details here). The next week we added a planked wall treatment and a new vanity and did LOTS of painting (details here). And now I am SO excited to show you our beautiful new farmhouse bathroom!
FYI: If you want to know where we found all the items for our bathroom, I’ve included a source list at the end of the post!
It was hard to capture the entire bathroom in photos since it’s such a small space, so I thought I’d do a quick video tour to give you closer look:
So what do you guys think?? I have to say that getting ready in here is such a treat now that we have this beautiful, clean, luxurious space. It is simple and classic with a heavy dose of my cozy farmhouse style, and I love how much lighter, brighter, and bigger it feels in here now! This makeover would not have happened without our friends at Bath Fitter, who did such an amazing job on our tub and shower. It looks wonderful! I definitely has a feeling of calm and peace, I love it!
Oh my gosh! What a transformation Liz! The mirror, the vanity, those walls, that tub & shower … it’s all perfect! Who knew a bathroom could be so pretty?!
I pinned away. It’s beautiful.
I LOVE your new bath room!!! A very lucid and reduced look but that’s totally gorgeous for this little room.!!And I love the wooden mirror from Target – please tell me is the mirror still in the assortment because I can’t find it online ๐
Hi Tanja! Thank you so, so much. I found the mirror on clearance at Target and haven’t seen it since, so I’m afraid it’s no longer available!
What are the dimensions of the mirror?
Hi Meghan! The mirror is 3ft H x 27″ W
What an amazing transformation!! I love it!! It’s absolutely stunning, and you made the perfect choices with the finishes, etc. I think I need to try installing some plank walls in my home now, they really do give your bathroom that classic farmhouse look.
Yay, I’ve been looking forward to this reveal! It is stunning, Liz! Every little detail is gorgeous! That mirror on shiplap wall makes my heart go pitter patter! Awesome job!
Liz it’s GORGEOUS!!! you did a fabulous job!
I love this bathroom. Never thought I would like so much white but it is beautiful!!! And the most favorite part of the whole thing—-that sink faucet!!! It is all so pretty. I will try and incorporate some of it into my bath. Thanks for the ideas.
Absolutely gorgeous – love the black and white colour scheme! ๐
Ta Da! The bathroom looks wonderful, Liz. Kudos on all the great work you guys did. Congratulations! Cheers, Ardith
Beautiful!!!!!!!
Beautiful! I love the floor and planked walls. You’ve captured the details beautifully in your photos.
Angela
It’s lovely! I like how simple and fresh the new bathroom is. Great job! I have 2 question: first, do you know what color grout was used with the floor tile? Second, how do you keep your towels so white? Mine still get a grayish cast, no matter how much I bleach them.
Haha, I’ll let you in on a little secret… I just bought those towels before photographing the bathroom because there is no way my boys would keep them that clean! You caught me. ๐
Speaking of towels…where are yours from? This is exactly what I’m looking for!! ๐
They are the Threshold line from Target! ๐
This bathroom is beautiful. I am redoing a small bathroom as well. Where did you get the mirror? It is gorgeous and exactly what I am looking for
Hey Nikki! The mirror came from Target, but I found it on clearance and I don’t think it’s available online anywhere.
Beautiful!
It’s gorgeous!!! I absolutely love all the textures in the space and it looks a million times bigger! The photography is just as beautiful ๐
Absolutely beautiful! Is the mirror from Target no longer available? I looked through the 16 pages of mirrors on Target’s web site and could not locate the mirror.
Hi Jackie! I don’t think it’s available any longer. I was lucky to find it on clearance a few months ago, but haven’t seen it since. ๐
How lovely! We redid two bathrooms last spring and used Bath Fitter for the tub/showers. They did a great job. I love them.
I love it! Can you tell me what your budget/actual cost was? I desperately need to redo my small master bath and I would like to know a ball park figure.
Beautiful, the photography is great. I always enjoy seeing your projects.
The mirror and the hooks take this bathroom places it would never have gone otherwise. Wonderful elements for the small space you had to work with.
Love this bathroom. Have done something similar to my bathroom. What is the specific brand of the shower curtain? It is perfect!
Hey Jody! It is Threshold from Target!
Love the mirror! try to find the link for it and it’s not coming up. Is there anyway you can send me the link to the mirror from target
Hi Sherry! I SO WISH I had an answer for you, but after I picked the mirror up on clearance at Target, I could never find it on their website. I don’t think they stocked it for very long, but I’ve heard that Birch Lane or Restoration Hardware might have a similar one!
I found it at Pottery Barn
This is gorgeous! It’s so bright and charming! I especially love the hardware you chose. That sink faucet is so reminiscent of a farmhouse pump!
I love the simplicity of this look! This bathroom is gorgeous. Thank you for including all of the links for where you purchased these items. I know it can take a lot of time.
Beautiful bathroom transformation Liz! I am so bummed that the mirror is not available online. I am OBSESSED with it! If you ever come across it online, will you let me know?! K.
Absolutely, Michelle! I SO wish this puppy was still available to purchase online… I’d probably buy another one myself! ๐
Where can I buy a door handle like this?! I look it it changes the whole demeanor of the bathroom. It’s so beautiful!
Hi Chelsea! Ours were original to the house, but you can shop antique stores to find old ones or even home improvement stores carry a “look-alike” version.
Hi there, beautiful bathroom! I’d love to know where you got the corner three shelf unit in your shower? And are you happy with that functionality as opposed to a built in nook or wire basket?
That’s the last detail I need for my own bathroom reno project.
Thanks!
Hi Sue! The corner shelf is actually part of the surround that Bath Fitter installed! A built-in nook would be nice if we had that option, but the corner shelf works great for us. Best of luck with your bathroom reno! ๐
Beautiful makeover- Love,Love,Love it! I know you got the mirror from Target but could you look on the back and see who the manufacturer is and let me know? Love it and would love to use it in my own bathroom. Thank you!
Thank you so much! The back of the mirror says “Three Hands Corp.”
I hope this helps! ๐
Hi Liz,
Your bathroom turned out beautiful. I love the planked walls. Well done! Would you mind sharing the brand of your shower curtain? I checked online at Target but I couldn’t find it.
Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
Hey Jennie! The shower curtain is from Target, but I don’t think they are selling it any longer. I’m so sorry!
Hello, where did you purchase the shower rod from?
It actually was part of the shower fixture package when we installed our new bath tub and shower surround. It was made by Moen, and you can buy it on Amazon!

Liz, thank you for the reply and link to Amazon.
Love this bathroom and I am copying lots of your ideas! I ordered the same vanity and faucet for my bathroom. Did you spray paint the knobs on your vanity to match the faucet? If so, how are they holding up? I tried to buy replacement knobs that match the faucet, but I’m realizing the holes may be hard to match up.
Hey Amy! Congrats! I think you are going to love this vanity! I did spray paint the knobs, and so far they are holding up beautifully. I didn’t want to deal with matching up the holes either!
After this long, how is your window area holding up? Do you have a shower curtain to cover the window when showering? We have a similar set up, and I was leary of putting a shower/tub under the window because of water damage. I really love what all you did, and am hoping to update our ‘new’ 70’s look!
Hey Joanne! The window is holding up beautifully almost a year later! The bath surround was installed around the window to completely seal it off and protect it. We have had zero issues, and it still looks great!
Thanks so much for sharing. Would you please tell me the color of the grout. It appears to be gray. Thanks bunches.
