Christmas Lights at Night

Christmas is now just around the corner, and today I get to share with you one of my favorite posts of the whole year. Over the last month or so I’ve given you a tour of what our little farmhouse looks like all decorated for Christmas during the day, but we all know that the true magic of the holidays happens at night when it’s all dark in the house except for the glow of Christmas lights on the tree. It’s beautiful and calm and peaceful and gives you a feeling unlike any other time of the year.

I’m so lucky to be part of the Christmas Nights Tour again this year with some amazing bloggers, and if you are just coming from visiting Kristen’s home at Ella Claire Inspired, I welcome you!

My hope for this tour is that you leave feeling the true spirit of Christmas… the quiet moments at home snuggled up by the Christmas tree and singing Christmas carols together and leaving milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. I plan on spending time gazing at these beautiful Christmas lights as much as possible over the next week or two, which means I won’t be posting much throughout the holidays. I have two little boys who are very excited to bake cookies and wrap presents with me! I want to wish you all from the bottom of my heart a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! If I could have all of you at the farmhouse on Christmas Day for brunch, I would!
