In partnership with Walmart // I’m sure by now you guys have figured out that I love discovering cute and affordable home decor and clothing and sharing it with you guys, and today I have some fun summer outfit ideas plus the first sneak peek at the nearly finished deck! I cannot even begin to tell you how much we love and have been spending time out here already this summer, so it seemed like the perfect place to shoot a couple photos to share these outfits with you.
This past week my girlfriend has been sending me photos of adorable outfits and Walmart fashion she’s been finding, so I had to stop in and check everything out for myself! Here are my favorite things I picked up for summer:
This knit jumpsuit is from the Time and Tru collection, and of course as soon as I buy it (literally just a few days ago), I can’t find it online anywhere. They do have plenty of other cute dress, jumpsuit, and romper options that I’m linking below, but I just love how the Time and Tru line has so many simple, neutral basics that can be dressed up, dressed down, and layered. This jumpsuit is so comfortable and would look darling paired with a denim jacket and a wedge sandal!

DRESSES, JUMPSUITS, ROMPERS:
This outfit was one of my favorites. I found a lot of pairs of cozy linen shorts, but these had the prettiest stripes and a fringe detail around the leg that I love. The shorts aren’t too tight around the leg (my one big complaint about wearing them), and the elastic waistband makes these super easy to wear and comfortable. And it comes in multiple colors! See this and more of my favorite shorts below.
I paired the shorts with a simple white tank and the denim jacket from Walmart that I still adore. I even found a pair of slip-on shoes with the prettiest crochet detail and a cinched headband that matches the shorts. Normally these kind of headbands are all way too big for my head, but this one fit perfect! I believe they only sell these in-stores by the women’s jewelry and accessories, but it was only $3.88!
My Walmart had quite a few really cute patriotic shirts and tanks for 4th of July coming up, and I snagged this simple, but still festive blue and white star tank that is lightweight, under $5, and very comfortable. I linked this and several other patriotic options below!
Another pair of shorts I loved were these Time and Tru drawstring linen shorts that are so comfortable and easy to wear and under $10. They are loose fitting and look best either with a more fitted top or with your shirt tucked into the shorts in the front. And here is another way to style the cinched headband with your hair up!
The linen shorts come in several other colors including this navy blue that is a great alternative to wearing denim (and so much more comfortable), and I found this pretty kimono (actually it was a swimsuit cover-up! – couldn’t fit it online) to wear over my tank.
Cozy, summer-y, affordable, very cute and flattering! I hope you enjoyed getting a little sneak peek at what the deck looks like as it is starting to come together (don’t worry, I will do a whole post on that once it’s done!) and also found some summer outfit inspiration as well!
I partnered with Walmart on this post, but as always the thoughts and opinions shared are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting our blog and brand partners!
