Now that a majority of the big projects in the office have been completed, it’s time to add some fun accessories, or as I like to call it, the “jewelry” of the room. The office has come a LONG way since the beginning stages (see before photos here), and it’s now a bright, fresh, clean space to work in. But with all the white walls, windows, and trim, the room needed a little punch of color, so I’ve been searching for some artwork that will compliment my mint desk I refinished recently.
Have you ever checked out Minted? LOVE this website. It’s a shop full of independent designers from around the globe that create the most beautiful stationary, unique art prints, and more. They have so many designs to choose from! I picked out a handful of prints, some already framed and some not, and played around with different colors and patterns for my office bookcase.
I was already pretty happy with the way the bookcase was styled, but these Minted prints were just what I needed to pull the room’s color scheme together. I’m still waiting for a few frames to come in for the square prints, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to show you this update to the office!

Side note: I try not to stay up working late too often (which is hard when you work from home), but on the nights I have to, turning on my marquee letter lights makes it much more enjoyable. Thank you for all the sweet comments you guys have left on that post! <3

I’m decorating a new house and would love a few new prints to add some sparkle! , this shop had some very cute items!

Very bright & pretty! Think I prefer them filled in a little more, especially with actual books (ahem… in the bookcase…)! Feel like bookshelves can be pretty AND functional, though the the current trend on the “pinterwebs” does seem to be bookcases, bar carts, etc, that are heavy on styling, light on functionality. My city space needs both! Lol. LOVE minted… Could use a couple prints for the nightstand & bathroom wall & that would be the perfect place to go for those.

Love minted.com as well. Just discovered it and favorited about 20 art prints in about 25 minutes. Not only a great webiste for purchases, but also for inspiration, along with your blog. Love your color scheme. My goal is to paint over my wood panel bedroom with a very similar color scheme, and maybe hang up some minted pieces.

I haven’t shopped at minted before but my partner and I love adding new art to our home that is meaningful to both of us. We have a gallery wall in our living room that is a collection of family photos, art from makers on etsy, thrift store finds and photos from our lives and travels. They actually came from Dollar Tree! They were originally purple, and I just spray painted them gold. 🙂
