Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries seasoned with a special ingredient and served with a delicious Chipotle Lime Aioli for dipping! This easy side dish is much healthier than regular french fries and the perfect companion for grilled burgers!
Hey there! I’m back for another addition of, what’s going on in Krista’s kitchen, a.k.a the Joyful Healthy Eats compound! 🙂
On a side note, can I just say I so appreciate you LGW readers and that you put up with all my weirdness! I feel like I can be silly here and just share some tasty recipes… which is what it should be.
Anywho. Last month I brought you that delicious gluten free Grilled Tilapia Bowl with Avocado Chipotle Crema as a way to celebrate grilling season. {p.s. if you haven’t checked out that recipe yet you need to because it is going crazy on pinterest!}
Today I was thinking of burgers and their ever so popular counterpart… the french fry!
One of the ways I like to make my fries healthier is to change up the cooking method. They still have the same crispy texture that everyone loves but so much better for you because they’re BAKED! 🙂
These Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries are super easy to make… all you do is chop them up season them with some special ingredients (there is a surprise spice in there that you will need to look at the recipe to see), and then bake them till they are nice and crispy.
I don’t know about your family, but we are ‘dippers’ over here. So every good crispy french fry needs a companion and today that companion is the Chipotle Lime Aioli.
The Aioli gives just the right amount of heat to compliment the sweetness of the sweet potato fries.
It is guaranteed to become your family’s favorite side dish for the summer and your burger’s new best friend! Hope you enjoy!

Every fry needs a good dipping sauce, right? 😉
A great looking side dish Krista! Loving that aioli!!!
Me too, Chris! Love a good dipping sauce!
I make baked sweet potato fries at least once a week, but I’ve never thought to use cinnamon or a dipping sauce. Thanks for the recipe. Your pics are beautiful. I am looking forward to reading more of your blog. Thanks, again!
Isn’t the cinnamon a unique addition? So clever! You’ll have to let me know how you like the recipe, Heather! So glad to have you at Love Grows Wild!
