Hey guys! I just wanted to pop in real quick and share something fun that I’ve been working on this fall… I partnered with Home Depot again for their annual Style Challenge! You might remember our outdoor harvest party we did for last year’s challenge, and this year we had the category “dining room”.
Earlier this summer, Home Depot sent us a mystery box of fall decor and told us to get creative decorating our space. Over the last few years, I’ve really toned down our holiday decorating and have learned to to add subtle hints of the season rather than plastering pumpkins and scarecrows all around the house. I do enjoy celebrating each beautiful season, but it just becomes too much work to drag out boxes and boxes of decorations that only stay up a handful of weeks before it’s time to move onto the next holiday, so I decided to stick with neutral colors that naturally fit into our home and simple decor that gives the feeling fall is on its way…
I brought out some scarves, jackets, and boots for chillier days and a few blankets to cuddle up with.
I added a “vintage” apple orchard sign that I made out of plywood.
I placed a few antique white and dusty blue pumpkins around the room.
So simple… so cozy… and so ready for fall!
This is just a quick look at the space, so be sure to check out the full post on Home Depot’s blog!

Where did you get that gorgeous wood sign?

Absolutely beautiful! Lovin the simplicity!
Beautiful dining room! Would you mind sharing your door and wall color?
Hey Brooke! Of course! The wall color is Woodlawn Colonial Gray by Valspar and Du Jour by Valspar (for the white). The door color is Rustic Pewter in Rust-Oleum’s Door Paint. I hope this helps!
