Every year I tell myself, “Just want until summer… everything will slow down, and you’ll have so much more free time to get stuff done and relax poolside with a mojito in your hand.” Is that ever really the case? Nope. Before summer even begins, the calendar fills up with parties and events, and before I know it I’m sending the kids back to school. Does that happen to you too?
After a blog conference trip to Utah just a few weeks ago, I ended up hopping on a plane to Miami this weekend for another conference. Craziness!

After landing in Florida to a tornado warning on Thursday, snapping photos with Lorena Garcia and Ree Drummond, and staying up way too late with some amazing blog friends, I am a wee bit tired to say the least. But man, did I have fun! Side note: if you’re ever in Miami, go to Morgan’s and order the Brioche French Toast that is the size of your head and ridiculously delicious. ermahgerd!
