If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you probably saw the giant oops I made this weekend… I may have accidentally not closed our meat freezer in the garage all the way and came back to find 20+ packages bloody, half-thawed beef dripping all over. Eww! Yeah, it was definitely not my finest moment. I didn’t want to take any risks of the meat going bad, so I cleared my schedule for the weekend and cooked my little tail off. I had beef in the slow cooker, in the oven, on the stove… It was pretty crazy! After smelling and looking at beef for almost 3 days straight, I was in desperate need of something different for dinner. Enter: shrimp.

Trying this recipe tonight! What side items would you serve with this though?
Sorry I didn’t get back to you before dinner was served!! I hope you enjoyed the shrimp! I like to serve this with cilantro lime rice or sometimes we even use this shrimp in tacos!
This looks yummy! I would love to make this tonight for dinner. Should I use one or two pounds of shrimp for this recipe?
Hi Vita! Thanks so much! For our family of four, 1 pound of shrimp worked just fine along with some side items. If you’re having any more than four, you’ll probably want to double the recipe. Hope you enjoy!
Sounds delicious! I was wondering if I could use frozen peeled and deveined shrimp?
Absolutely! I use frozen shrimp all the time. I just put the frozen shrimp into a strainer and run cool water over them until they are thawed. Then you’re all ready to cook with them! Enjoy the recipe!
Oh this looks wonderful! I’m getting my shrimp out tomorrow and making this.
I hope you enjoy! We love this easy recipe!
Thank you So much!!Awesome quick easy recipe! And we happen to have lemon rice which made it perfect!
You are so welcome! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Lemon rice sounds delish with this!
Can’t thank you enough!!! This recipe is ABSOLUTELY flipping AMAZING!!! So flavorful!!! Thanks a million for sharing. We will make this again and again!
YAY!! I’m so glad you loved this recipe! Thanks so much for stopping by to let me know your review!
Can you serve this shrimp cold as an appitizer ?
I hadn’t thought about trying that, Laurie! You’ll have to let me know how it turns out!
Excellent! So easy and delicious. Thanks!
btw, I did not use cilantro because I dislike it– the recipe still turned out great!
Can the shrimp be cooked and served later? Would it travel OK if chilled?
Hi Patricia! I usually don’t recommend pre-cooking and reheating shrimp just because it can be overcooked so quickly. It really just takes a few minutes to cook through, but if you try it, you’ll have to let me know how it turns out!
How Can I print this recipe please ?
