I purchased my Silhouette CAMEO during last year’s annual Black Friday sale, and I’ve been putting it to good use ever since! I’ve created everything from home decor and apparel to fun handmade gifts, and I keep discovering new ways to use my Silhouette machine everyday! Here’s some of my favorite projects I’ve created using my Silhouette CAMEO:

NOT SURE WHAT A SILHOUETTE IS?
The Silhouette is an electronic cutting tool that can be used to create a wide variety of projects. Similar to a printer, the Silhouette machine plugs into your home computer using a USB cable, but instead of printing, the Silhouette uses a small blade to cut designs created in the Silhouette Studio software. The machine is able to cut through many types of materials including vinyl, paper, cardstock, chipboard, fabric, heat transfer, magnet sheets, and more!

WOW! I would so love to have something like this!!! My son’s room used to be Cars themed. I even painted a road around his room with Cars character Wallees on the road. He grew out of the Cars theme, I have removed the Wallees, but I have not painted his room yet, wondering what to do about the road. He just crossed over to Boy Scouts last March and his goal is to make Eagle Scout like his older cousin did two years ago, he was so proud to wear his Webelos uniform and be there with his cousin. So, it dawned on me what to do with the road, stencil (a Silhouette would be so much easier), “The road to Eagle Scout” on the road and every time he makes a rank I would stencil them on there until he makes Eagle. He loved the idea, and I am behind, because he’s already made 2nd Class.

What would I use it for? What wouldn’t I use it for would be a shorter list.
