Bringing fall into our living room was probably the easiest decorating I’ve done this season so far, and it always takes me by surprise how much I love the simplest of things…
I scattered a variety of faux pumpkins throughout the room…
a pile of soft white velvet pumpkins on a tray on the coffee table…
and a collection of dollar store plastic pumpkins that I painted a chalky white displayed in my hutch.
I also made sure we had plenty of thick, cozy blankets and soft pillows in the room to snuggle up together on those chilly fall nights that will soon be coming. Can you ever really have enough snuggle-worthy blankets? Not in my opinion.
To breathe some life into my light, bright, neutral living room, I used a pitcher full of dried roses that I’ve saved from various bouquets over the year, and the muted blush, cream, and burgundy tones on the wrinkled petals felt just perfect for fall.
On one wall I hung a wheat wreath with sprigs of dried lavender throughout as the final touch of fall, which added just the right amount of warmth to all the white in my living room. These little touches didn’t take hardly any time to create and made the room feel so cozy.
I know one little puppy who certainly enjoys afternoon naps in this beautiful autumn sunshine…
I hope you’ll follow my friends and I as we celebrate the changing seasons in our homes again this year in our “Seasons of Home” holiday series!

I absolutely love your decorating style. So beautiful and classy.
Pretty, but a little too much white for me.
Love white pumpkins, it make your fall decor so soft and pretty ?
Beautiful room. Simply beautiful. Love your hutch….what is the story behind it?
So pretty Liz!
hi! did you order the 24″ width or 28″ width for your wooden round tray?
Also, is the target tufted chair color roughly similar to that of the target tufted rolled arm chair?
Thanks in advance
