The presents are all wrapped, the cookies have been baked, and our home will soon be filled with family and friends all celebrating the holidays together. As busy as this month has been, I just love how peaceful and serene our little farmhouse becomes after the kids are in bed and all the Christmas lights are turned on at night. There is something truly magical about it, and even though I already shared Part 1 and Part 2 of our Christmas Home Tour for the year, I thought I would open our doors once again to show you what the house looks like at nighttime.
I am truly honored to join an amazing group of bloggers as they also share their homes in Maison de Pax’s Christmas Nights Tour, so please sit back, relax, and enjoy. Things will probably be quiet here on the blog for a few days as I enjoy the holidays with my family, but I will be back soon with plenty of exciting things coming up in 2016. I wish you a very Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart… thank you for being part of my Love Grows Wild family!

Oh Liz, so sweet and cheery and wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing, my friend. I hope you have a beautiful Christmas! xx
Every inch of this tour is absolutely beautiful, Liz! Your photography is perfect. Hope you and your sweet family have a merry Christmas!
This is my favorite time of day, too! After my daughter is tucked into bed and I settle on the couch for some quiet time with the tree all lit up and our little Christmas village lights on and the candles lit. You’re right…. it’s magical!
So warm and lovely and welcoming, Liz! I love the pictures with your little guy- the most beautiful part of Christmas is sharing all the magic with our kids. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
Beautiful! Merry Merry Christmas!
So beautiful Liz. Thanks for sharing.
I love LOVE LOVE your master bedroom. Simply breathtaking! (I wish it was mine…..sigh).
It is the last of sunshine and I meditated on Gods Word for this year I’m going to write a Journey of Joy. I had to prepare for this adventure by reading some verses and my high school friends of over forty years scattered all over via emails will do Ruth. And as I’m thinking how to present this to them–journeys….some are so very very hard….Ruth was young and widowed…how can I lead us gals ( we just cannot call each other women!!) that this even at the beginning has a verse of joy? Oh but my heart has given me via the Holy Spirit ideas and I can apply it to me. And they to their journey.
So as I finish my first entrance in my journal it was so very peaceful and the neighbor’s begin playing music loudly so I can tell the song!!!! And I feel my joy begin to slip. Already Lord? And He guides me to your night tour. And peace begins to return. As I peered into your neatly placed ornaments and your sleigh with candles. An old window propped. A wicker deer head made me smile. It seemed so peacefilled under the lights of the trees. Oh the bedroom with the bed under the eaves like at my cousins’ house when I was small. And the clever rod to add romantic lace pulled back to form a mini canopy. Then came the pretty tree with pretty packages wrapped up like snow. The urn pottery with random sticks for the brown contrast. And I felt like I’d been given a special treat. And then help called who will not undecorated yet but help me get unstuck from a chaos the erupted and I don’t know anymore how to clean up messes. How good God is to provide help on just the right day and time for all my needs–from verses, quiet meditating on His Word to viewing your home and feeling so peaceful to help calling so unexpectedly ❤️?❄️ Blessings!
LOVE! It all looks perfect! I thought the stockings along the wall were particularly clever! Great work! Your photos are stunning and the lighting is just right. Do you mind sharing what settings you used on your camera for that glow? I can never quite capture our tree at night the way I would like. Thank you so much for sharing! Hope you had a great Christmas!
Oh, thank you, Lauren! I’m definitely no expert when it comes to photography, but I just leave the camera on aperture priority mode and let the camera adjust itself. It’s the easiest way I’ve found to do it!
Thank you so much, Liz I will definitely try that! I may just run around with my camera tonight… the tree won’t be up much longer! 🙁 Enjoying it while it lasts!
Oh my, you have a lot of skills. Simply beautiful. I wished my home looked a s elegant.
