Okay now I’ll show you how I made my own custom stamp using my Silhouette! I still cannot believe all the different ways I can use this machine. I was skeptical at first on how well my Silhouette would cut through the thick stamp material, but it worked perfectly and I’m so excited to see what else I can create!
I started with this little frame design that came with the starter kit. In the Silhouette Studio software you’ll want to select “stamp” on the cutting mat options on the bottom right side of your screen.
When you’re ready to cut your stamp, select “stamp material” in the settings and you’ll see which number you need to adjust your blade to.
Place the stamp material onto your cutting mat and gently press out any air bubbles.
Load the cutting mat into your machine and press cut!
I was so impressed with how well it cut the design!
I placed the stamp onto one of the acrylic blocks from the starter kit and stamped my design onto white card stock.
Since I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of Fall, I thought I would use my letter stamps to add a “welcome fall” message to my labels.
I poured some incredible autumn-scented potpourri into glass vases I already had at the house and used twine to tie my labels around the vases. I also dropped a cranberry votive candle into the smaller vase to add the perfect ambiance!
I love these sweet and simple Fall vases, and I can use them on my mantel or as a table centerpiece. I love keeping staple decor such as glass vases and candles around that I can easily change from season to season with a little bit of help from my Silhouette!
