Thanks for coming to the party! I’ve been very productive this week as my kiddos have been visiting their grandparents in Illinois. It has been peaceful, quiet, and absolutely wonderful! I have to admit that this time off Mommy duty has been very nice, but I did get weepy a few times when I picked up my baby’s blankie or ate dinner by myself when Jeremy was working late. But it was a much-needed break, and I can’t wait for them to come home! I’m going to hug and squeeze them and not let go for at least 4 hours! Do you think they’ll sit that long?
I spent the bulk of my week giving my patio a fabulous makeover, but I did manage to get some cooking in too!
