Hi Friends! We’re just finishing up Spring Break here in Indiana, and I am EXHAUSTED! The boys and I had such a fun time on our little adventure this past week, but I’m definitely ready to get back into a normal routine! I still have laundry up to my eyeballs, taxes that still need to be finished, and a BIG blog celebration coming up in a few weeks to plan for!!
I sincerely apologize for not getting back into the swing of things yet, and I promise to have all kinds of yummy, crafty things ready for next week! But if you would like some inspiration to start your weekend off right, head on over to Uncommon Designs where you’ll find me sharing this inspiring quote as a printable!

Every once in awhile I like to share a peek into my crazy life with all my boys, so I thought I’d leave you with a few photos from our Spring Break adventure!
Our first stop was in Southern Illinois at my little sister’s house. While there we did what we do best… cook and eat! My sister works in the medical field, and she prepared some wonderful healthy meals for us. She has inspired me to jump-start my healthy eating habits again! Here she let the boys make personal pizzas on English muffins and tortillas with lots of healthy veggies! Aren’t my little chefs-in-training cute?

My youngest son, Wyatt, is best known for his unique ability to crash into things with his head. That big cute noggin of his always seems to have some sort of a bump, bruise, or scrape on it! He’s a tough little booger, and he’ll make one heck of a football player some day. Until then we solve our boo-boos with an Angry Birds bandage and some sweet shades. And after this weekend Wyatt will make very sure that Aunt Kristi stays far away from his boo-boos with her alcohol pads. Ouch!

We colored Easter eggs while at my sister’s and even tried a new shaving cream method to dye the eggs! Our hands were stained for a few days, but the boys had a blast.

The last stop on our adventure was to French Lick, Indiana to an indoor water park! It was absolutely perfect for my boys, and we made so many fun memories! My little fishies swam almost non-stop for a day and a half, and we were exhausted by the time we left! My poor little guy, Wyatt, has fought bad ear infections since he was an infant and had tubes put in when he was 1. We finally found some good ear plugs so I didn’t have to worry about water getting in his ears. What a joy to watch my baby splash around with that big smile on his face!
P.S. What do you think of the bathing suit I chose? My husband made so much fun of me for getting a black one-piece, but I think it’s still cute! And I was so comfortable in it! However, I do think it’s time to tone-up a bit… this getting older thing is for the birds!

Glad ya’ll enjoyed a great spring break! Your youngest and mine seem so much alike! Corbin ALWAYS has bumps and bruises and is constantly running headfirst into things, lol!

You were down my way at French Lick- it’s about an hour east(ish) from us! We have been to the water park a few times and the boys LOVE it!

My husband is making so much fun of me for wanting a one piece as well. I just think it would be much better to chase after the boys in and not feel like I’m baring myself to the world!
