WHERE HOME AND HEARTS CONNECT
My name is Liz Fourez, and I am so grateful you are here. I started Love Grows Wild in 2012 as a way to share my creativity with others, and as my little blog grew, so did my passion for interior design and homemaking. I started creating projects for the 1940’s farmhouse we were renovating and sharing them on the blog, demonstrating easy ways to create a beautiful and inviting home with a handmade touch. I truly love connecting with readers and helping them create a home they love – – empowering women to express their creativity, learn to use power tools, and discover their own unique self and style is something that brings me so much more joy than I ever thought possible.
My signature style of soft neutrals, cozy textures, bright, airy spaces, and simple, timeless design continued to grow my business and eventually led to an offer to write my first book, A Touch of Farmhouse Charm, released in December 2016. I used the renovation of our farmhouse as inspiration for the book and created 70 home decor projects ranging from beginner to advanced tutorials to showcase, as well as a room-by-room tour of our farmhouse, styling ideas, tips for working with tools, and more. A Touch of Farmhouse Charm became a best seller on Amazon in 2017 and is one of my proudest achievements to date.
Always a dreamer, I began wanting to share more than just online inspiration and reach people in a different way.
So in the summer of 2017 I opened a small retail shop in my favorite antique store in my home state of Indiana and filled it with items that I love and decorate my own home with. Opening this little shop has been a natural extension of what I create on my blog and in my home and allows people to find my favorite things and decorating ideas all in one place.
Over the years, my unique voice for storytelling and captivating photography have given me the opportunity to be featured in/on Country Living, Apartment Therapy, Romantic Homes, Cottages and Bungalows, American Farmhouse Style, Country Home, HGTV magazine, Southern Living and more. I have filmed commercials and worked with some amazing brands such as Wayfair, KitchenAid, KILZ, Magnolia Home, Balsam Hill, Birch Lane, Home Depot, and Joss & Main to name a few.

ABOUT LIZ
I currently live in North Central Indiana in a small 1940’s farmhouse, but grew up in a small town in Illinois, about an hour and a half South of Chicago | I’m a mom of two sweet boys, one in middle school and one in elementary | The boys play sports year-round, so if I’m not at work, I’m usually on a football field, baseball diamond, or wrestling mat | I, however, am not athletic at all, but was in dance since most of my childhood | Growing up, my mom was in the food service industry, and my dad was a union electrician, which fostered my love of food and concept of hard work | I have one younger sister and knew nothing about sports or super heroes until I had my boys. Now I have a slight obsession with Thor | I have a French Bulldog puppy named Remy, who is like my third child | Donuts and ice cream are my weakness | Fitness has become a big part of my life, and on days when I’m stressed you’ll find me at the gym | My guilty pleasure is Real Housewives… ALL of them | I taught myself how to use a camera for my job and have developed a true love and appreciation of photography | Someday I want to learn calligraphy, how to garden, and travel Europe
