Do you love the taste of a juicy, grilled cheeseburger but don’t always want to fire up the grill? Or are you looking for a new way to enjoy those yummy burgers? Try this Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza! It is made with delicious Velveeta cheese and has all the amazing flavor of a burger hot off the grill!
Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza - a delicious new way to enjoy your favorite burger! #velveetarecipes

I don’t know about you, but I am really loving all the delicious grilled food we get to enjoy this time of year! Burgers, hot dogs, shrimp, corn on the cob, pineapple… you name it! My husband is quite the grill master, and he cooks all kinds of incredible food for us on his beloved giant charcoal grill. But can I tell you a secret? I’m sort of embarrassed to say this, but I’ve never really cooked on a grill before! Say WHAT? Let me explain…
My dear husband is very passionate about using a charcoal grill and thinks it is sacrilege to use propane. I’ll admit, you don’t get the same smoky, charred flavor as using charcoal, but propane is just SO much easier! Who wants to get a giant charcoal grill started just to grill a few hot dogs? Not this girl! So I decided I’m going to leave the grilling to my husband until he caves and gets me a little gas grill of my own. I’m just stubborn like that : )
But the other day I was totally craving a juicy grilled cheeseburger, and with no husband around to cook them for me at the moment, I had to come up with something on my own. My kiddos were begging me for pizza for dinner, but that fierce craving for a cheeseburger just wouldn’t go away. So I thought of a compromise… I’ll make a Cheeseburger Pizza! Ohhh and bacon too. Yes, a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza! I headed to the store and grabbed everything I needed to prepare this delicious creation.
I used a refrigerated pizza crust to make things easy and topped it with spicy brown mustard for the sauce. Then I browned some lean ground beef seasoned with steak grill seasoning and Worchestershire sauce to make it taste just like a grilled cheeseburger. Then I added my secret ingredient for turning this pizza into the perfect CHEESEburger pizza… Velveeta!

I loving using this liquid gold in cheesy broccoli soup or macaroni, but it works great so many other recipes too! I dropped some cubed Velveeta cheese into the skillet and stirred until it melted and coated the beef in a delicious, cheesy sauce. It tasted amazing! I topped the pizza with my cheesy beef mixture and some cooked chopped bacon and baked it until the crust was golden and the cheese was perfectly melted.

I like lots of fresh toppings on my cheeseburgers, so I added chopped tomato and shredded lettuce over the pizza to make it just like the burgers my husband would cook. I don’t need a grill to enjoy a nice, juicy bacon cheeseburger! This pizza tastes just like it!

Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza - a delicious new way to enjoy your favorite burger! #velveetarecipes
Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza
1 can refrigerated pizza crust
1 pound extra lean ground beef
6 slices bacon, cut into 1″ pieces
1/2 large onion, finely diced
8 oz Velveeta, cut into 1/2″ cubes
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 tablespoon steak grill seasoning
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce, for garnish
chopped tomato, for garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Press the pizza crust into a 12″ pizza pan and bake for 5 minutes. Meanwhile in a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium low heat until browned and crispy. Remove onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Set aside. In another large skillet, add the beef and onion and cook over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain fat and return to the skillet. Add steak seasoning and Worcestershire and stir to combine. Then add the cubed Velveeta and stir until melted. Spread mustard over the pizza crust then top with the beef mixture. Add shredded cheddar on top and bake for 10 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is melted. Add the cooked bacon, lettuce, and tomato and cut into wedges to serve.
– For thinner crust, press the pizza dough into a larger pan.
– You can also use a rectangular baking sheet.
