If you love to cook, you know that one of the best parts of Summer is having a bounty of fresh herbs to use from the garden. Mint is an absolute favorite of mine, and I love using it to make Mint Sugar! Have you ever tried it before? It is SO simple to make!
You just add about 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves to a food processor,

add 3/4 cup of sugar,

and you have Mint Sugar!
I know, it’s total rocket science, but I promise you can handle it {wink!}

The food processor chops the leaves up into tiny pieces and infuses the sugar with the mint’s fragrant scent. The smell that fills the room when you open the lid is absolutely incredible! You will want to keep this stuff on hand at all times!

So what can you do with this amazing mint sugar?
I personally love it sprinkled on slices of watermelon or any fresh fruit… It adds just the perfect amount of sweetness and a big burst of refreshing mint flavor! I also use it to rim cocktail glasses and stir into my tea and lemonade. Just trust me, you have to try this stuff!

This is also great to have on hand when you are expecting company. I like to keep things simple but special when I entertain, and offering this mint sugar will really wow your guests! You can make this a day or two ahead of time by storing it in an airtight container.
